Altemus of Searcy, Arkansas, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 10, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel Altemus and Ruth Altemus (Parks). He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Altemus (Feagin); his children, Jeff Altemus (Marci) and Cindy Lazar (Jeff); his grandchildren, Michael Altemus and Allison Welch (Spencer); and his siblings, Joel Altemus, Bill Altemus and Shirley Altemus.
Due to the current concerns of COVID-19, all services will be held at the graveside at Bethlehem Cemetery in the Denmark community on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 2:00 p. m. Full military honors will be rendered. The family requests that face coverings be worn and social distancing be practiced.
