She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Vernor and Hazel Dancy Vernor; her husband Charles Ray McBroom; and her sister Shirley Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Meredith Boutell (Bob) of Searcy; her granddaughter Allison Grace Boutell; her siblings, James Vernor of DeWitt, Lottie Forrest of Sherwood and Peggy Batton of Arcadia, LA; and her grandchildren, Jacey, Jaden, Jaxon, Jager Wallace and Garrett Padgett. She is also survived by five children.
