She was predeceased by: her husband Woodberry W. Hunter; her son Alva Gene Hunter; and her brothers, Travis Benton, Max Benton, Lynnwood Benton and Dickie Benton.
She is survived by: her children, Charles D. Hunter (Katie), Shelby Gearl Hunter and Virginia Lee Spradlin (David); her brother Coy Benton; her grandchildren, Fondarosa L. Curvin (Jeff), Shelma Winningham (Larry), Cindy Hunter, Wyatt Hunter, Shawn Collins (Sky) and Wade Hunter; her great grandchildren, Shelbey Winningham, Hannah Hunter, Destini Collins and Shawn Jr.; and her great great grandchildren, Elizabeth Winningham and Luke Winningham.
