He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Hooks and Katherine Patterson Hooks. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hooks; his children, Anthony Hooks (Judy) of Monticello and Tinka Henderson (Blake) of Searcy; and his grandchildren, Jessie Clark, Levi Simmons and Devon Simmons. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
