Karl Shafer Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 12, 2020, at the age of 79, Karl Shafer Sr. of Searcy, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert O. Shafer Sr. and Yeyou McGuire Shafer; his grandfathers, R. E. Shafer (Ducky) and McGuire; and his nephew Scott Payne.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Shafer III (McKennly), Nathan Lynn Shafer and Alyssa Phillips; his siblings, Kimber Jane Shafer and Robbie Shafer Payne (Phil); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Clay, Allison, Eric, Dana Payne Edwards Robert (Mac) and Scott Payne. He is also survived by his wife of 48 years; Vonda McKay Shafer, two sons.
