It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Rhodes of Searcy, Arkansas, born in Kensett, Arkansas, who passed away on August 2, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Ausburn and Ruby Ausburn (Ainley); her former husband Audie Hill; her husband Gerald Rhodes; and her siblings, James Ausburn and Pearl Westbrook.
She is survived by: her children, Carlon Hill (Barbara) of Searcy, Christopher Hill of Searcy, Etta Melton (Gary) of Searcy, Phyllis Fitzgerald (Donnie) of Searcy, Shelia Sherbourn (Bobby) of Muskogee and Jacquline Black (Bobby) of Heber Springs; and her siblings, Fred Ausburn of Benton, William Ausburn of Benton and Louise McNew of Benton.
