He was predeceased by: his parents, Floy Allen Courtney and Etta Graves Courtney; his former wife Frances Louise Courtney; and his brother Calvin Courtney. He is survived by: his wife Lynda Perry Murdock; his children, Dr. Michael Courtney (Johnna) of Hot Springs and Sandra Courtney Johnson (Duane) of Castle Rock, Colorado; his grandchildren, Alan Johnson (Amber), Dr. Kirsten Courtney (Kameron Beeks), Ellen Courtney and Bailey Courtney (Gary Johnson); his great grandchildren, Michael James Johnson, Victoria Emma Beeks and Evelyn Christine Johnson; his sister Margie Wilson (Carrol); his stepsons, Hardy Murdock (Ann), Perry Murdock (Nikki) and Jody Murdock (Connie); and his caregivers, Rena Jo, Debbie, Jerrica and Mindy.
