She was predeceased by : her parents, Raymond L. Collins and Grace Aleta Collins; her husband Lloyd Irvin Place; her son Jeffery R. Place; and her grandson Jeffery I. M. Place.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Emmerson of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Michael Place of Aztec; her grandchildren, Lisa Boling, James Emmerson, Brandy Lawerence and Heather Young; her great grandchildren, Candace Dyer, Dennis Bowling, Jordan Emmerson, Chandler Lawerence, Trenton Lawerence and Ryen Young; and her stepgrandchildren, Chetlee Davidson and Keelee Davidson. She is also survived by seven great-great-grandchildren.
