It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madge Lucille Hastings Ghormley (Siloam Springs, Arkansas), who passed away on July 21, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Hastings and Viola Hudson Hastings; her husband Mark Morrise Ghormley; and her siblings, Forest, James, Harold (Buck), Chester, Tommy, Joe, Bill, Eugene, Alene Hardwick and Lois Elmore.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Partain (Danny) of Chance, Oklahoma, Linda Brown (Leonard) of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and James Ghormley of Siloam Springs, Arkansas.; her grandchildren, Melissa White (John) of Bella Vista and Kelly Willis of Chance, Oklahoma.; her great grandchildren, Derek Willis, Blake Willis, Caden Willis of Chance, Jordan and Lauren White of Bella Vista, Arkansas.; and her great great grandchild Blakely Willis of Henryetta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wasson Funeral Home (441 US-412, Siloam Springs, AR 72761). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Cemetery.
