He was predeceased by : his parents, Eston Elder and Lura Elder; his daughter Mary Elder; his granddaughter Corena Ramos; his siblings, Lynn Elder, James Elder and Judy Black; and his brother-in-law George Lee Williams.
He is survived by : his wife Betty Elder; his children, Bonnita Mennenga and Eston Carl Elder; his stepchildren, Uvette Jones and Bill Jones; and his stepgrandchildren, Lauren Trotter and Eathan Jones. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
