He is survived by: his close friend Patricia Davis; his stepmother Margaret Carnes; his children, Michael Carnes, Tammy Hornek, Amie Holmes, Jessica Carnes and Andrea Carnes; and his siblings, Ronnie Carnes (Diane) and Brenda Beth. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
