He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Minnie Bell Slaughter; and his siblings, Jack, Bill, Pete, Jim, Pug, Gibby, Teen and Wanda.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Randy (Mary) of Springdale, Sam of Springdale and David (Tammy) of Springdale; his grandchildren, Beth, Justin, Spencer, Shelbi and Nick; his great grandchild Jordan; and his sisters, Francis Taylor and Lois Gage.
