He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin Stamford and Lillian Stamford; his wife Betty Stamford; his children, Elizabeth McKnight, Eva Thomas, Steven, Joe and Mathew Chinault; and his siblings, Livia Harris, Lynett Worth and Lynn Matise. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
