It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leona (Bolivar) Salsman (Springdale, Arkansas), born in Walnut Grove, Missouri, who passed away on January 8, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Henry Kirk and Edna Jane Duncan Kirk; her husband Dean Salsman; and her siblings, Allen Kirk, Loren Kirk, Lois Cornelius and Irene Bridges.
She is survived by: her children, Velma Shaffer of Springdale, AR, Elbert Salsman of Lincoln, KS, Marvin Salsman of Carlisle, PA and Dr. Norma Fujikawa of Bentonville, AR.; and her grandchildren, Kent Shaffer, Brandon Shaffer, Ryan Salsman, Justin Salsman, Clayton Salsman, Kenet Salsman, Isaac Fujikawa and Sarah Fujikawa-Desavado. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
