He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Ashby and Cecila Franks Ashby; and his brother John Franklin Ashby. He is survived by: his daughters, Randi (Jeremy Fleming) of Springdale and Samantha Newberry of Prairie Grove; and his siblings, Byron Ashby of Memphis, TN and Cheryle Ashby Smith of Springdale. He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
