She was predeceased by : her parents, Otra Duel Tatom and Mavis Gladine Wheelington (Black); her husband Michael Ray Aldridge; her sister Shirley Tannehill; her stepsister Judy Wheelington Greer; and her brother-in-law Larry Aldridge.

She is survived by : her brother Arvis Tatom (Sylvia); her sisters-in-law, Patsy Tatom, Gayle Aldridge and Cora Mae Harris (Ronnie); and her children, Debbie Stringer (Damon), Melanie Jackson (Keith), Tamara Greene, Dianne Jetton, Deanna Greene, Michael Greene, Michelle Hanson (Chuck), Wesley Aldridge, Waylon Aldridge and Megan Raley (Steve). She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and family and friends.
