She is survived by: her sons, Jay David Merritt (Rachel) of Star City and Jamie Merritt (Kristi) of Star City; her siblings, Gerald Irons (April) and Venita Irons Leggett; her grandchildren, Tristen Merritt, Hannah Merritt Smith (Austin), Tera Merritt, Jaycee Merritt Rodgers (Tripp) and Jacob Merritt; and her great grandchildren, Izabella Merritt, Remmington Hudson, Stetson Faulkner and Banks Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Springs Cemetery. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
