Gayle Trussell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Trussell of Star City, Arkansas, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Chandler and Ethel Morris Chandler; her husband Carroll Dale Trussell; her siblings, John Chandler, Thurman Chandler, Raman Chandler, Hershel Chandler and Vonnie Williams; and her grandmother Johnston.
She is survived by: her children, Allen Dale Trussell (Linda) of Heber Springs, Michael Duane Trussell (Virgina) of Missouri, Brenda Trussell Brown (Charlie) of Star City and Rebecca Arlene Trussell Case (Danny) of Glendale; her grandchildren, Stacey Gayle Gragg (John) of Lincoln, Anthony Aaron Owen (Michele) of Bryant and Brandi Jo West (Brannon) of Star City; her great grandchildren, Dakota Alan McKeown, William Carroll Owen, Harper Elliott Owen and Addilyn Saige Hopkins; her great great grandchild Alekzander Jay McKeown; and her close friend Willie Mae.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church (5590 US-63, Rison, AR 71665). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
