She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Marek and Vlasta Marek; her husband William C. Elam; and her sister Evelyn Chlapecka. She is survived by: her sons, Billy Elam, Paul Elam of Stuttgart and Marty Elam (Andrea) of Belzoni, Miss.; her siblings, Betty Bednar of Carlisle, Paul Marek (Jimmye) of Hazen and Martin Marek (Carolyn) of Slovak; her grandchildren, Ashli Bucher (Aaron) of Benton, Gere Elam of Slovak, Josh Hinson (Heather) of Vicksburg and Jenny Clow (Daniel) of Vicksburg, Miss.; and her great grandchildren, Brogan, Marek Bucher, Hayden, Reagan, Cooper and Axl Hinson.
