She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore H. "Ted" Johnston; her parents, Frederick J. Swanson and Lydia Josephine Swanson of Mead, NE; and her siblings, Walter and Lorraine Mott of Gainesville, FL..
She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Widman of Batavia, IL and Dorothy Strandberg of New Richmond, WI; her sons, Keith E. Johnston (Bonnie) of Berkeley, CA and Wayne R. Johnston (Le Ann) of Conway, AR; and her grandchildren, Daniel Johnston (Kathryn) of Bargersville, IN, Elizabeth Johnston of Overland Park, KS and Nicole Callis (Peter) of Oakland, CA. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Marian Elizabeth Johnston, 98, of Stuttgart and Fayetteville, Ark. died on March 16, 2019 at the Health Care Center of Butterfield Trail Village in Fayetteville after a six-year battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
