She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Shelby R. Simpson and Clara Starnes Simpson; her husband Tommy Hillman; her sons, Hal Hillman (Barbara) of Carlisle and Rich Hillman (Tina) of Carlisle; her grandchildren, Trip Hillman (Caroline) of Dallas, Christopher Hillman (Lauren) of Dallas, Emily Crawford (Drew) of Dallas, Collin Torian of Carlisle, Caroline Davis (Brad) of Conway, Drew Weddle of Little Rock, Ben Weddle of Nashville, Tyler Weddle (Melissa) of Lowell and Seth Weddle (Meagan) of Miami, Fla.; her great grandchildren, Blakely, Brooks and Brigham Weddle; her aunt Helen; her uncle Leland Carle of Stuttgart; and her siblings, Audrey Ferrari of Carlisle, Mary Sue Gurley of Olive Branch, Miss. and Johnny Simpson (Scottie) of Lakeland, Tenn..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Open Arms Shelter in Lonoke, Ark., or the Carlisle First United Methodist Church Senior Food Pantry.
