He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Hale (Quarrel); and his siblings, Marie Robbins, Virgil Hale and Calvin Hale. He is survived by: his children, William "Jimmy" Hale (Gail) of Stuttgart and Susan Hale of Stuttgart; his grandchildren, Beth Sherman (Cole) of Stuttgart and Kenneth Hale of Stuttgart; his great grandchildren, Ella and Rachel Sherman; and his sister Vernie Orick of Stuttgart.
