She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Sims and Dossie Thurman Sims; her husband James T. Hanson; and her siblings, Alonzo Sims, Gilbert Sims, Wilbert Sims and Marie Sauce.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce VanDen Acre of Springhill, Brenda Glass of Queen City, TX, James A. Hanson (Donna) of Siloam Springs, AR and Terry Lane Hanson (Tari) of White Hall, AR; her niece Sherma McWilliams; her sister Lona Moore; and her close friends, Raymond Robertson and James O'Glee. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
