He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Warren Ganter and Dorothy Harris Ganter; his wife Debra Jamison Ganter; his family Johnny; his children, Rashad Khalid Ganter, Sr. (Bianca Stevenson Ganter) and Jamila Diane Ganter; and his grandchildren, Rashad Khalid Ganter, Jr. and Jordan Raquel Ganter (Kodak). He was also cherished by his family, friends and special classmates.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Grove Baptist Church (2801 Arkansas Blvd, Texarkana, AR 71854). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
