She was predeceased by : her husband Johnie "Cowboy"; her parents, Raymond Workman and Vera Edna Workman; her children, Peggy Hood (Ronnie) and Johnie; and her grandsons, Jonathan and Ronald Hood.

She is survived by : her sons, Jimmie Hilburn (Cindy) of Monticello and Tommy Hilburn (Kathy) of Monticello. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to the Arkansas Baptist Home for Children, 150 Hyatt Court, Monticello, Arkansas 71655.
