He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Swindell, and Tillie Swindell, Sr. (Hill); his daughter Ellen Leann Swindell; and his siblings, Martha Weakly, Ruth Gibbons, Juanita Stiles, Ellen Summers, June Barger, Ellis Franklin, William Franklin and Clovis Swindell.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Swindell; his daughters, Janet Alspach (Bill) of Van Buren and Jennifer Jones (Phillip) of Alma; his grandchildren, Lindsey Alspach, Adam Winfrey, Andrew Winfrey (Jessica) and Kayla Alspach; and his great grandchildren, Genevieve Winfrey and Rayne Winfrey.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel (4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR 72956).
