She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hale and Beulah Hale; her husband David Stephens; her children, Gwendolyn, David Jr and Ardella; and her siblings, Rebecca, Sally, Aristeen and George.
She is survived by: her sister Airsteen; her children, Juanita (Herman), Sheilah Sims (Fred), Wanda Chic (Cornell) and Marvin (Lauren); her daughter-in-law Naomi; and her siblings, Orabell Wiley and Joseph Hale (Doris). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 11 great- great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
