He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Ted Harrison and Jim Coons; his son Daniel (Kathy); his wife Betty Block of Sisseton, SD; his sons, Curtis (Janice) and Gerry; and his siblings, Shirley Tucker, Marlys Bubak, Tom and Harvey. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
