She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cecil Herring and Effie Herring (Bolin); her husband Dewey Brown of Phoenix, AZ; her former husband Gene Sands (Karen) of Soldotna, AK; her children, Michael Sands (Debbie) and Allison McKulsky (Michael); her stepchildren, Dewey Jr Brown (Lori), Darrell Brown and Debbie Brown; her grandchildren, Mary and Joshua; her stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Zane and Ryder; her sisters, June Tilley, Francis Wisniewski and Evelyn Hanstein; and her stepbrother Bobby Pothorst (Anita). She was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
