Geraldo Martinez Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldo Martinez (Arizona City, Arizona), born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by his long time girlfriend, Jenny Gildaro; siblings Martha Rodriguez , Jorge Martinez Jr, Jani Sanchez, and Luz Martinez., his children Jose Martinez and Brenda Rivera. His grandchildren Makayla Martinez, Jay Martinez, Daniel Martinez, and Rosie Rivera-Smith. He is predeceased by his siblings Juan Martinez, Charlene Gonzalez.

Geraldo loved his family, going to the casino, and bingo night. Geraldo moved to the states with his mother when he was only 6 years old. When Geraldo was 18 years old he decided to join the Army where he was able to travel the world. He retired after 10 years of service. Geraldo was a long time Dallas Cowboys fan and would hang out at the local VA to watch his games. He never missed a game. Geraldo will be missed by family and friends. Geraldo was asked to be cremated and spread into the ocean where he loved to go fishing from time to time as a kid in California.
Visitation for family and friends will be at 6pm Thurs. March 24, 2022 at the family's home in Arizona City, AZ. Contact Jenny Gildaro if you would like to attend as space is limited.
