It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Lawrence Althoff (Chandler, Arizona), born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Althoff and Helen Althoff (PJ); his son Dan; his grandson Danny; and his siblings, Doris Langston, Wayne and Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Michael Althoff (Janet), Don Althoff (Laurie), Doug Althoff (Deb) and Meta Pew (Donny); his stepson Todd Smiley (Karen); and his siblings, Bob, Ken, Dick, Pat, Carol, Virginia, Teri and Phyllis. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
