She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pauline Nicholson and John Nicholson; her husband Carl Schmitt; her children, Michael Schmitt (Alana), Robert Schmitt (Loraine) and Sue Schulte (Kent); her daughter-in-law Maureen Schmitt; her grandchildren, Ryan Schmitt (Bethany), Erin Schmitt, Nathan Schmitt (Tricia), Chelsea Schmitt, Clint Schulte (Kayla), Karly Schulte, Lindsay Mahoney (Sean) and Matt Poole; her sister Sally Brorby (Tom); and also, Nolan, Elliot, Sebastian, Aiden, Harper, Lia and Bryson.
Diane's beloved dog, Chico, was a rescue pet, and the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Diane's name to the Arizona Humane Society.
