He was predeceased by: his parents, John Murphy and Mary Murphy (Meanor); his brother Patrick; and his stepson Michael. He is survived by: his wife Debra of Chandler Arizona; his children, Charles Murphy (Mia) of Boise Idaho and Joanna Lewellen (Matt) of Holt, Florida.; his grandchildren, Megan Murphy (James Roberts) of Birmingham, Matthew Murphy of Boise Idaho, Galway Ireland, Ryan Hackett of Pensacola and William Hackett of Pensacola Florida; and his friends, Elks and Marines.
In lieu of flowers Murph requested donations to the Tempe Elks AEMP Lodge Scholarship Fund for Children and Grandchildren of Tempe Elks. Donations can be sent to the Lodge at 2320 S. Hardy Drive, Tempe, Az 85282 in care of Patricia A. Davis, Lodge Secretary.
