She is survived by: her niece Susan; and her siblings, Josie Garza, Margaret Reyes, Pete, Augustine C. and Rudy Rosales.

She was particularly proud of her work contribution to the NASA space program and was able to recount that pride during her 90th surprise birthday celebration in 2019 with a space exploration theme.
