He was predeceased by: his parents, Reymundo Sanchez and Henriquetta Sanchez; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Lydia; his children, David Sanchez, Jr. (Stephanie), JoAnn Ortega (Peter), Elaine Sanchez (Tony) and Joseph Sanchez (Sharyan); and his grandchildren, Sean, Erika, Daniel, Jesleena, Nicholas, Tito, Omar, Alex, Amaya and Michael Rey. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
