He is survived by: his wife Linda Payne (Jacobs); his children, Terri Payne (Dight), Michael (Cece Payne), Terry (Jennifer Payne), Gary (Mary Payne) and Stacy (Bill Kettrey); and his grandchildren, Tiffany, Brandon, Joshua, Travis, Tyler, Alicia, Miranda, Wesley, Callie, Troy, Molly, Aaron, Alex, Collin and Cameron. He is also survived by his children and later his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
