He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Unkie D; his parents, Rose Fox (Levine) and Lewis Fox; his stepson Jason Cooper (Nalda); his grandchildren, Jason, Luiza and Benjamin; his sister Carol Borrow (Joe); his brother-in-law Bruce Hough (Linda); and his close friends, Howard Rothstein and Terry McCutcheon. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.

The last several years his brain suffered the ravages of Frontotemporal Dementia until his body succumbed to COVID 19 on June 25, 2020.
