She was predeceased by : her parents, Rafael Traslaviña and Eusebia Traslaviña. She is survived by : her children, Jesus Valdez, Jr. (Annamaria), Lupe Amparo (Frank), JoAnn Lara and Jose Valdez (Maryjane); and her siblings, Antonia Fonseca, Angelita Basaca and Ralph Traslaviña. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the West Resthaven Funeral Home (6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301). A rosary was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Santa Teresita Roman Catholic Church (14016 N Verbena St, El Mirage, AZ 85335).
