He is survived by: his children, Gina Gauvain, Jonathan Gauvain, PJ Gauvain (Diana), Christopher Gauvain, Sarah Doremus (John) and Amy Swercheck (Frank); his stepchildren, Angela Mellott and Dominic Valerioti (Vicki); his grandchildren, Chris, Elisa, Vince, Teagan, David, Benjamin and Gabriella; and his brother Louie Gauvain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
