He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse King and Kathryn David King; his wife Joyce Marie King; his siblings, Mildred Ware, Janet Pierce, Inell Dean and Johnny King; his grandson Garrett Bardwell; and his great grandchild Ty Folsom.

He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Potter, Rick King (Bonnie), Donny King (Karri) and Mark King (Rhonda). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
