With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Ruth Kotouc (Humboldt, Nebraska), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on February 4, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Uhri and Ruth Uhri (Penn); her husband Gene Kotouc; her son Terry Gene Kotouc; her parents-in-law, Milton Kotouc and Nellie Holman Kotouc; her siblings, John William Uhri (Dorothy), Dr. Robert Uhri, Gordon Uhri (Colleen) and Jean Saal (Bob); and her sister-in-law Jane Hedberg (William).
She is survived by: her daughters, Jonell Kotouc of Green Valley, AZ and Robbin Kotouc of Clatskanie, OR; her grandchildren, Steven Kotouc of California and Audrey Kotouc of Washington; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Kotouc of California and Dawson Kotouc of Washington. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Four-Mile Congregational Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the "Community for the Pool" project, Humboldt, NE.
