The memory of Wayne Edward Day Near of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, who passed away on April 19, 2024 at the age of 79, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his former life partner Joanne Near. He is survived by : his wife Linda LeBourdais-Near; his daughter Karen Nairn; his stepdaughter Lisa Bower (Matthew); his grandchildren, Dr. Leah Nairn (Dip), Dayna Nairn (Trevor), Benjamin, Owen, Lily and Noah; and his pet Dickens. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home (1105 Rest Acres Rd, Paris, ON N3L3E3). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Woodstock General Hospital in Wayne's memory would be appreciated by the family.
