He is survived by : his wife Salina A. Murrieta; his children, Angel J. and Alexis V.; his mother Patricia (late Angel Sr.); and his sisters, Lisa (late Apricio Franco), Terry Esparza (Juan) and Rosemary (Jay). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and so many other family members.

“Mi pato it still doesn't seem real my heart is broken and don't understand why, my first nephew we grew up together and always had your respect I never expected you to leave before me it's not supposed to be this way but only God knows and who am I to question him , I was always very proud of you and always told you , great husband father, son brother nephew, friend to many I only wish I could have said goodbye but it's not goodbye but till we meet again.
