He is survived by : his mother Linda Sue Howell of Carrollton; his wife Michella Rivera-Abernathy Howell; his children, Zachary, Dillon Howell and Ashley Collier; his brother Michael; his sister-in-law Beth Howell of Malvern, Ohio; his sister Margi; his brother-in-law Rick Hepner of Carrollton, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Nolan, Teddy, Mason and Mila.

A burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Marana Mortuary Cemetery (12146 W Barnett Rd, Marana, AZ 85653). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
