He is survived by: his children, Joyce Bahe, Amos Tate (Aurelia), Emerson Tate, Jackie Alchesay (Nathaniel), Sherry Kayson (Harding), Arlee Tate (Ralita), John Mark, Sr. Tate (Cathy), Robert, Sr. Tate (Bonnie), Juanita Jr and Jimmy George, Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, which also includes great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
