With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Nielsen Dowell of Mesa, Arizona, who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul L. Crandall and Barbara Allen Crandall; her former husbands, Victor L. Nielsen, Jr. and Emery B. Dowell; her brothers, Paul L. Crandall, Jr. and Dr. John A. Crandall; her children, Ericka Nielsen Barber, Teresa Nielsen Hayden, Victor L. Nielsen III, Matthew C. Nielsen and Paul M. Nielsen; and her husband Vic Nielsen. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Barbara C. Nielsen Scholarship Fund, Mesa High School, 1630 E. Southern Avenue, Mesa, AZ 85204-5220.
