He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Pope and Ruby Pope; his children, David Wayne Pope and Ruth Ann Peterson; and his siblings, Ben Pope, Paul Richard Pope, Joe Francis Pope, Charles Pope and Alma Jean Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Allene Pope of Tulsa; his children, Janet Sue Zook, Brenda Sue Shuman, Lloyd Neil Pope and Robert Daniel Pope; and his brother Elmer Lee Pope. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
