He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Morris Luster; his siblings, Pat, Mary and Beth; his parents, Charles Walter and Chloe Curtis Luster; and his son Michael Luster (Roanna).

He is survived by: his sons, Steven Luster (Becky) and Scott Luster (Margie); and his former wife Bertha Craig.
