He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William George Burnham Dye and Shirley Dye (Lawcock); his children, Ida Charlene Dye Kraft and Paul Matthew Dye; his nephews, Michael Edwin Kelley and Robert W. D. Kelley; and his niece Patrice Dugan.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Mary's Food Bank.
