He is survived by: his daughters, Pamala Dempsey (Brian), Jennifer Moreland and Rebecca Akers (Michael); his sister Holly Silkey; and his grandchildren, Ethan Dempsey, Grace Dempsey, Charles Dempsey and Alyson Akers. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
